Olympus DS Series Digital Recorders

Not to be confused with the Olympus DS series of dictation recorders, these devices are aimed at giving you complete event recording flexibility. Metal skin construction, external power supply capability, and incredible sound reproduction, the DS-50 and DS-40 are perfect for meetings, lectures, conferences, interviews, rehearsals and more.

Spoken Menus

The DS Series is very popular among those with limited sight due to the built-in "spoken menus" feature. As you navigate the menu on these recorders, a voice announces each item and your choice selections.

Olympus DM Series Digital Recorders

New! These latest voice and music recorders from Olympus pack a lot of features into a small, very affordable package. Both the DM-420 and DM-520 record in MP3 and WMA format, while the DM-520 also records in PCM (WAV) for maximum sound reproduction. Both units come with rechargeable batteries and a special new software, Olympus Sonority Software that allows for easy editing of files and includes a podcast manager. Both recorders are MAC compatible, too!

Look for these soon in our Online Store.

Digital Transcription Solutions

Once you've recorded your event, you may want to transcribe it. Olympus offers two transcription kits, the AS-5000 and AS-2400. Both will play WAV, MP3 and WMA files, as well as DSS, giving you full ability to play back your recordings using a footswitch to save time and strain. One important difference between these two transcription kits: the AS-5000 allows you to change the playback levels between two stereo channels. That means, if you need to listen to only one channel, you can turn down the volume on the other. The AS-2400 does not have this capability.
