Phone-in dictation services are still very popular: they allow professionals to dictate wherever there's a telephone. With today's ubiquitous cell phones, that means just about anywhere!
However, phone-in systems used to be expensive to buy, expensive to set-up and expensive to maintain. A simple 4-line system for a home-based medical transcriptionist might run close to $10,000! Not anymore.
American Dictation is pleased to bring to market the DigiTel Phone-In System from Apptec, a venerable technology company in the dictation industry. Whether you need 2 lines, 4 lines or 64 lines, the DigiTel system makes any combination affordable and easy to use.

Use any PC with USB ports to create a complete telephone dictation system. Your USB 1.1 or 2.0 ports (with a minimum of 400 mA of power) will provide all the power needed. No AC adaptor required!

The DigiTel system comes in a 2-line or 4-line configuration. Need more than 4? Use multiple PC's to not only provide more lines (up to 4 per PC), but also provide redundancy in case one PC fails.

Easy, yet very robust. The DigiTel software allows you to start right away, or spend a few more minutes giving each user unique preferences, such touch-tone functions, ID codes and more.
Priced well below other systems, the DigiTel system comes in three base configurations:
$899 SRP*
$1,149 SRP*
$1,949 SRP*
