Collection: Consumer Dictation
Entry level, or consumer digital dictation devices are true dictation recorders, in that they allow the user to dictate, then add, append and sometimes insert into the existing voice file.
They differ from their professional counterparts in several key areas, however:
1. They typically are made of plastic as opposed to metal framed.
2. They are not repairable if broken or dropped
3. The software included does not allow automatic sending of voice files via e-mail or FTP
4. They do not include remote setup, configuration, or lifetime technical support
We recommend these for the smaller user, such as insurance adjusters, police officers in the field, and infrequent dictators who typically share an office network with their typist.
